More about choice: our business and personal lives are woven from the fabric of thousands of choices. I made a choice today to remain unwaveringly optimistic. Then I made a choice to skip my morning review of the stock market. I made a riskier choice to put my dog KD a border collie mix, in the car and head out to the Marina to sail my boat and clear my head. I chose to tune into the news-free classical station on the way - when I turned on Marquesas Way, I had arrived at a decision. I will remain optimistic and together we’ll weather this – yes it’s big and it’s mean and I don’t know how yet – no one really knows how yet but I do know this – we’ll do it. We’re resilient, we adapt, we’re head strong and heart strong we can and will choose to come out of this “shift” better than we could have ever imagined.

My fiancé and I were planning an engagement party for Sunday afternoon. Our local florist failed to deliver our flowers that morning. With only 3 hours until the guest arrived, we frantically looked for a florist in Los Angeles. We contacted Mark Chatoff, the owner of California Flower Mall. He immediately directed us to one of his tenants in the market that specializes in tropical flowers. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The selection of flowers is extraordinary, prices are well below retail and the parking is very convenient. No parking fees and the huge warehouse mall is located on the same lot. And most importantly for us was that they were open on Sunday! I highly recommend this flower mall to anyone needing beautiful fresh wholesale flowers at the lowest price.
